Kitt Medical joins forces with Medical Tracker.

As a medical community within schools, we all have a key mission: to improve the provision of medical support across the UK.

We know we can’t do this alone, so Medical Tracker is pleased to work with Kitt Medical to improve the awareness and visibility of allergies and anaphylaxis across UK schools.

Medical Tracker joins a growing list of organisations supporting change through Kitt Medical.

Get to know Kitt Medical.

Co-founders Zak and James have created a life-saving product that addresses an overlooked need within schools: emergency allergy medication and training when needed.

In their words, "It’s time we got proactive about allergy care in education". Hear from Natalie Denchfield on her experience of Kitt Medical.

Allergies are becoming more common...

In the UK, around 2.5 million people have a known allergy.

In the last 20 years, there's been a 336% increase in prescription rates for adrenaline auto-injectors.

Reactions are becoming more common...

There were more than 25,000 admissions to English hospitals for allergies and anaphylaxis in 2022-23

This has more than doubled in the last 20 years.

Adrenaline pens aren't there, you need them...

45% of people prescribed adrenaline pens don't carry them as they're either forgotten or expired.

Expiry dates and stock from pharmacies are unpredictable.

Adrenaline pens are never there when you need them

We know that adrenaline pens can be pretty hard to source and that they often have very short shelf lives.

That’s why we’re so excited to offer an all-in-one service. We guarantee long-life adrenaline pens, automatically replenished before they expire, and easily stored in our accessible wall-mounted Kitts (rather than a locked cupboard somewhere in your school). We also replenish any pens used at no extra cost if you report an incident on our Portal.

Many schools face issues with training as it’s often costly (in both time and money) to organise, and staff often don’t turn up to do it.

That’s why we include unlimited CPD-accredited Anaphylaxis Kit training right into the subscription package. The training consists of 30 minutes of instantly accessible, easily digestible videos on allergy and anaphylaxis, followed by quiz questions. Also, through our Kitt Portal, you can track who has completed the training (and who hasn’t), making it easy to audit.

Hundreds of schools across the UK consistently call us a ‘no-brainer’ - find out why by signing up with our service today.

Quite simply, Kitt Medical saves lives; 20+ to be exact.

That is 20+ times that:

  • A parent/carer's son or daughter has come home after school that day.

  • A school staff member returned to work the next day.

  • An individual has survived a scare and can help spread awareness to prevent this in the future.

Anaphylaxis happens more in school than in any other setting outside the home in the UK.

For schools, having Kitt Medical in place gives them an evergreen safety net that can prevent loss of life and keep every person safe.

If you have a child with allergies at school, we’d love to help you get Kitts installed there. A few PTAS and local groups have also funded Kitts, which is an option.

We’ve put together a leaflet with info about our Anaphylaxis Kitts for schools for you to pass on/present to your school - click here to access it.

We also work with a lot of school academy trusts around the country and can come present a talk on Understand Allergies & Anaphylaxis At School - if you’re interested, get in touch with us by emailing team@kittmedical.com
