A message from our product team

We built this to close the gap between what happens and what's known.

The single most used module on Medical Tracker and the founding functionality of our infrastructure. With a queue 20 deep outside the first-aid room at lunchtime, healthcare staff need efficiency, navigability and familiarity in a system they use to log incidents.

We built the incident logging to be fast enough to use in the moment (30 seconds or less) and visible enough that the right people find out before it becomes a bigger problem than it needs to be.

Replace your paper accident book

Paper accident books have been part of school life for decades. But, sadly, it has become part of the problem.

Incident slips written in a hurry, misplaced and incomplete first-aid forms, and historic records buried in folders are a nightmare we don't have to deal with anymore; a faster, more reliable way to record every incident and access records when you need them the most.

Now integrating with CPOMS!
One integration. Zero duplication.

Designed for standardisation and consistency.

No two schools are the same, which is why Medical Tracker lets you record every type of incident in one place, from pupil and staff incidents to visitor incidents and near misses.

Because every record follows the same structured process, schools can improve consistency while reducing administration.

Medical Tracker gives you standardisation and consistency across every record

Log witness statements for complex incidents

Memories fade fast, which is why recording witness statements immediately is critical. Medical Tracker's pre-built templates make it easy for staff to capture up to 10 witness accounts the moment an incident happens, so headteachers, business managers and MAT leaders always have a clear, reliable picture when they need it most.

Record mental-health incidents with our CPOMS integration

CPOMS is one of the most widely used safeguarding platforms in UK schools, and Medical Tracker now connects directly to it.

A medical incident is recorded on Medical Tracker every 4 seconds, and with 96% of young people saying mental health affects their schoolwork, medical and pastoral teams can't keep working in isolation.

Any medical incident logged on either platform is instantly visible to the safeguarding team on the other, with no phone calls, no emails, and no risk of anything being missed.

Did you know

Incidents connect to more than you'd think

A handful of features that turn a single incident report into something far more useful.

"Do parents get told automatically?"
Yes. Parents and carers can be notified the moment a relevant incident is logged, without a single phone call needing to be made.
"How do we know if an incident is RIDDOR reportable?"
Incidents that meet RIDDOR criteria are flagged automatically, helping your school stay on the right side of statutory reporting duties.
"What happens after the incident is logged?"
Accident investigations, root cause notes, and follow-up actions can all be recorded against the original incident.
"Can safeguarding-relevant incidents reach CPOMS?"
Yes, all relevant incidents can be sent straight into CPOMS, so pastoral and safeguarding teams see them with zero duplication.
"Who else needs to know when this happens?"
Automated internal notifications alert specific staff such as form tutors, SLT, first-aiders, the second a relevant incident is recorded.
"Can we spot patterns across incidents?"
Trend reporting reveals patterns between incidents relating to the same pupil, the same location, or the same time of day, again and again.
